After a great deal of dilly-dallying, I bit the bullet and rewired Heuristicat's mains through the inverter-charger. It worked, but only after I realized that there was an on-off switch :-)

Summer finally arrived in Portland. As the heat comes in, It" did not "go away". Thanks to Denise's hard work, I'm now protected from much of the forecast 40-degree heat by a lovely beige canopy.

A litttle technical progress in the port berth. This charger can handle 21st century batteries ;-) We are still locked down on the docks, watching in horror and consternation.

With some canvas and zippers from Sailrite, plus elbow grease... I've upgraded the sail cover to a fashionable sailpack with lazy jacks :)
